      <image:caption>My journey in fitness training began after a 6-year stint in marketing/advertising left me short on inspiration. A leap of faith set me on a new course. Working as a personal trainer, but suffering myself from back and hip issues, I began to explore the world of Pilates in 1999. And after feeling rather instant benefits and recieving positive feedback from my clients whose programs I had injected with these new principles, I fully immersed myself in the Stott Pilates training in 2000. Upon completion of the comprehensive program, I opened and directed a fully equiped pilates studio at AYC Health &amp; Fitness in Kansas City. In 2006 our family moved to southwest Colorado for a change of pace and a chance to experience the beauty of the mountains. I started the business in Ridgway and combining my experience in Pilates with other training modalities created a vision of offering the community integrated movement programming to meet the demands of their active lifestyles. Life now brings us to Northern Colorado and I'm excited to share my experiences and knowledge with this vibrant community!</image:caption>
